Sheet Metal Worker Apprentice

We’re hiring a motivated sheet metal worker apprentice to join our commercial, and residential ventilation division. 

What We’re Looking For:

Registered or Actively Registering Sheet Metal Apprentice (308A)

• Interest in commercial HVAC systems and custom sheet metal fabrication

• Ability to work safely and follow mechanical drawings

• Team-oriented and reliable work ethic

• Tasks are completed efficiently with quality

• Valid G or G2-class driver’s license

• Basic understanding with power tools and hand tools

• Quickly learns to measure, cut, grind, and hammer light gauge materials

• Willingness to take direction, ask questions, and preform

What You’ll Do:

Our projects span new builds, system upgrades, and specialized mechanical work. If you’re optimistic about the sheet metal trade, reliable, and ready to grow, we want to hear from you.

• Fabrication: Assist in cutting, bending, and assembling ductwork using CNC plasma tables, brakes, and shears. This emphasizes not just CNC operation but the foundational geometry skills—using radial and parallel pattern development, drawing stretch-outs, and applying trig/math to generate flat patterns from 3D forms, which are essential in advanced sheet metal work.

• Installation: Help install commercial HVAC systems including ducting, fasteners, hangers, and insulation.

• Specialty Work: Support the installation of rooftop units (RTUs), heat recovery ventilators (HRVs), variable air volume (VAV) systems, and dust collection systems.

• Final Finishing: Gain experience installing diffusers, vent terminations, dampers, grilles, louvers, etc. 

• Specialized Tasks: You’ll work alongside our team or your assigned technician to learn how to read and understand project plans and specifications, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and according to established procedures.

• Monday- Friday

• 8 to 11-hour shifts
